So, on this project, I really did some experimenting!! I started off my painting the piece all different pastel colors so that when I put a coat of white paint over them and distressed in areas the pastel colors would show through.
I used Annie Sloan in Pure White to cover up the entire piece and then distressed it before jumping into experimenting with wax. Below is a video tutorial the details the entire process. I have to say, it was a learning experience and even though some parts I didn’t like at first, I just kept adding colors until I was THRILLED with it. I love how she has such a feminine romantic look to her. I hope you enjoy the video!!
