This piece was a fun one for me to do a blending video on and I also show you how to apply a transfer (the floral images you see around the piece). Now keep in mind, this is a recording of a LIVE video, but I keep all my talking directed to answering questions about the process and explaining tips and tricks to each technique. I am a Brand Ambassador for Dixie Belle Paints and Redesign with Prima Transfers, so those are the products I use and I will list them below, but you are able to use these techniques with most chalk mineral based paints.
Products Used: Click on the blue text to be taken to that product on the Dixie Belle website. These are my affiliate links, and if you purchase any of these products I receive a small “thank you” credit from Dixie Belle (it doesn’t cost you anything extra to use these links, its helps cover the cost of doing videos and tutorials and to be able to offer them for free).

I’m in loving and learning and loving so much from your videos! You are definitely very talented in your work. I am wondering, how in the world do I get my hands on some of the brushed! I have only been able to find the 1 1/2″ plush and am searching for some 2″ ones. I would LOVE to purchase a few more of the DB brushes but my mercy they are always out of stock EVERYWHERE!! I am a newbie and have already found that I love to purchase from the ones who take the time to TEACH and put in the effort to show others how to succeed as well. You’re one of those! I went to your affiliate link for brushes but it says they are out of stock with DB…ugh!!! There is another ambassador that I really like but I dont like here few payment methods unfortunately. Do you happen to keep stock or is everything an affiliate link to DB? One more thing….which do you use to sand after you’ve painted to get that buttery finish? Is it the sanding pad or the thicker darker color “block” style sander? Thank you for all of your help! I have soooo many questions!!! And I’m hoping you are one I can come to for help with those!
Thank you Jami 🙂 With everything that is going on right now with the virus, a lot of companies are having a difficult time with their suppliers for materials to fulfill orders. I’m finding that as an issue with a lot of companies right now. It means so much to me that you wanted to use my affiliate link. I am also not able to get my hands on the brushes lately either. They said they will be in soon, so you can check the site often to grab them when they come in. Message me directly on Facebook and let me know what all you are looking for and I’ll try and find someone who has them in stock for you 🙂 Thanks again …. HUGS 🙂
